The EU promotes the mobility of learners across Europe as well as the transparency and quality of education and training in Europe through a set of different tools and initiatives. They include the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and the EUROPASS tools. 3s contributes to the development and design of these instruments through its participation in working groups of the European Commission and in EU-subsidised projects, which include partner institutions from almost all European countries. Furthermore, 3s experts provide support for the national implementation of these tools, for example the development of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and the implementation of ECVET in Austria.
