Work-Based Learning Transfer Manual
Work-based learning (WBL) is a key issue in vocational education and training (VET) throughout Europe. Different VET systems and different WBL approaches limit the transfer of good WBL practices. The project identified not only examples of good practice, but also tested the success of transfer criteria used by operational partners (VET-providers).

Therefore, the project promoted recognising and analysing good practices, supported transfer between participant countries of improved work-based learning practices, assured the quality of the transfer of good practices by using the Common Quality Assurance Framework (CQAF), enhanced the methods for revealing and sharing the tacit knowledge associated with good practices, and strengthened the mutual learning in the VET sector. This project further focused on using transferred good practices when planning work-based learning. The project was coordinated by the Finnish National Board of Education.
