Thematic Network NetECVET – advisory and consultant activities
The thematic network NetECVET consisted of 14 National Agencies of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). It promoted ECVET in the context of transnational mobility and supported the implementation process in the member states through a bottom-up approach. 3s was providing expertise to the thematic network NetECVET in close cooperation with CEDEFOP.
The thematic network NetECVET consisted of 14 National Agencies of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). It promoted ECVET in the context of transnational mobility and supported the implementation process in the member states through a bottom-up approach. 3s was providing expertise to the thematic network NetECVET in close cooperation with CEDEFOP.
NetECVET addressed VET practitioners and supported and guided them in the application of ECVET. The core element of these activities was an ECVET toolbox. The thematic network NetECVET was coordinated by the German National Agency for Lifelong Learning.
The aims and objectives of NetECVET were
- Promoting good practice projects and increasing their visibility: To achieve this aim the projects and product database ADAM was further developed. More detailed information on specific ECVET-related features were available.
- Preparing the ground for a broad implementation of ECVET in transnational mobility
- Supporting a common European understanding of ECVET against the background of different VET systems in the different member states, taking into account that there are different conditions and consequently different approaches.
- Linking activities at European and national levels.
- Guiding VET practitioners on their way to improve mobility projects in their transition to ECVET projects.
- Developing recommendations for different target groups: policy makers, social partners, stake holders and national authorities.
