The location analysis deals with the added value of the business location Tyrol and associated competence- and qualification requirements. In the labour market analysis the labour market perspectives of graduates of such a Master Degree Program are analysed on the basis of analysis of secondary statistical data and relevant studies. In the company analysis interviews with representatives (experts) of relevant companies in the field of mechatronics were conducted, they were asked about the demand of specific, mechatronic competencies. The experts also were asked to validate the planned curricula. In the acceptance and coherence analysis comparable study programs were analysed and the demand of the planned study program was estimated. This study builds the basis for LFUI and UMIT to decide whether the planned Master Degree Program “Environmental Technology” is invented or not.
