The aim of this project was to update the European Inventory on validation of non-formal and informal learning for 32 countries (EU 28 plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) in order to support the monitoring of the implementation of the 2012 Council Recommendation on validation of non-formal and informal learning.

The study focused on two instruments: the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET).

The key objective of this study was to understand the necessary conditions, synergies, and benefits of linking validation with guidance and counselling services.

This project aims to promote the competences of adult learning professionals on the circular economy through developing and piloting a social e-learning environment.

Through this study, the Commission aimed to create a better knowledge base about the availability of skills audits to different target groups, the variations in how skills audits are carried out, what they entail, who is involved and which assessment and identification methods are being used.

3s was commissioned by the province of Lower Austria to evaluate its ‘TOP Stipendien NÖ’ (TOP scholarships Lower Austria) that support excellent and labour market oriented study programmes  in demand by the job market.

3s was commissioned by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit) to undertake a needs and acceptance analysis for implementing an education and training facility in the broadband supply sector.

On the basis of a specifically developed scheme of assessment parameters, the City of Vienna (Department 23) commissioned 3s to evaluate the funding directive 2010 and 2013 for Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) by conducting online-surveys and expert interviews among the UAS-carriers, project-leaders and representatives of the local innovation system.
