From credit systems to permeability in education and training
Supported by 3s, the instutions based in the Albert Schweitzer House were developing a common mission statement.
The European Network of Reference and Expertise in Vocational Education and Training (in short ReferNet) was set up by Cedefop (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training), in order to meet the rising demand for information which is required for the comparison of current developments and political procedures in EU member countries.
3s Consulting Ltd. has been assigned to implement a potential analysis for the planned master degree programs “Interior & Three-Dimensional Design” and “Illustration & Print Media”.
Between the completion of compulsory educational school and the vocational matriculation examination there are some isolated educational offers in the dual sector in Austria (e.g. to make up an apprenticeship examination). But in the field of secondary vocational schools that could close the gap between the completion of a compulsory educational school and the school leaving examination (Matura), there are not many offers in the adult education sector in Austria.
3s offers “graduate benchmarks” where the validation of study programs by the graduates of a respective study program can be benchmarked with those of other, comparable study programs (comparison of indicators).
3s Consulting Ltd. brings along years of experience in conceptualising and undertaking analysis of graduates which have proved as feedback instruments in order to assure quality of study programs of universities of applied sciences in Austria.
3s has, in cooperation with Neuberger Research and RSI consulting, conducted analyses about current and future needs regarding education and training in the nanotechnology field in Austria.
3s, in cooperation with SFS (other Austrian research institute) was responsible for analysing current and future needs of qualification structures and training offers in the producing industries in the Salzburg province.
