Model Of Transferability of Learning Outcome Units – M.O.T.O.

The M.O.T.O project sought to contribute to the implementation of ECVET (European Credit Transfer System in Vocational Education and Training) through a partnership between ministries and national institutional bodies responsible for VET in four countries: Italy, Austria, Finland and Iceland.

Providing expertise to the ‘European Seminar on EQF/NQF’ and to national discussion circles on NQF/EQF

The analysis of the statements received during the consultation process on the Austrian National Qualifications Framework (NQF) shows the need for further discussing and clarifying a series of important aspects. In order to meet this need, 3s was contracted by the department of vocational education and training at the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture to organise workshops for the discussion of specific questions.

Opening of labour markets and educational systems – Contributions to research in vocational education and training

Migration, mobility and integration and the resulting need for opening labour markets and educational systems represent great challenges for Austria but also for the European Union. The 1st Austrian Conference on VET Research focused on this topic as the main theme and also provided an overview of Austrian research activities in vocational education and training as well as in related areas.
