The report gives an overview over current developments regarding accumulating, transferring and validating learning in Austria.

Following the national consultation process on the European Qualification Framework (EQF) it was agreed to establish a National Qualification Framework (NQF) for Austria.

The goal of this project (in cooperation with ibw) was the analyses of the practical implementation of the proposed ECVET considering its practical implementation in the Austrian initial VET system.

The Trans-European Qualifications Framework Development (TransEQFrame) is a project that brought together partners from seven European countries that were in the process of developing their National Qualifications Frameworks (NQF).

The partnership of the EQF-FRAME project was composed of institutions from five European countries and is coordinated by the Malta Qualification Council.  Aim of the project was to further develop and test the European Qualification Framework (EQF) by using existing qualifications in the tourism sector of the partner countries.

The project VQTS II built on the results of the successful, award-wining project VQTS (2003-2006) and aimed to further develop the principles and methods for designing a Competence Matrix.
