Job profiles and opportunities for employment in an automated and digitised Austrian mobility sector 2040
The study (coordinated by the Austrian Institute of Technology – AIT) examined under the assumption of progressive automation and digitisation in the Austrian mobility sector:
– How employment in the Austrian mobility sector (employment level, qualification requirements, job profiles) could develop by 2040?
– What opportunities and challenges can be expected?
The study dealt with passenger and freight transport in the four traffic subareas road, rail, water and air.
