International examples and experiences with National Qualifications Frameworks and their relevance for the development of an Austrian NQF

The objective of this study was to analyse the concepts and aims towards the development of National Qualifications Frameworks in selected countries (Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Hungary).

The analysis focused on the organisation of the development processes and on specific design elements of the NQF and in particular on the relevance of these strategies and approaches for the development of an Austrian NQF.
