The scope of this study (Lot 1 of the project ‘Support and incentives to learning and careers’) encompasses services and measures aimed at supporting career development and learning activities of adults, including career guidance, validation of informal and non-formal learning, basic skills training, referrals, motivational training, job search assistance and support to the definition and implementation of individual actions plans. The study is divided into two interconnected assignments aimed at the following two main objectives:
- Assignment 1 – Understanding the costs and results of publicly financed measures of career development services for adults: Mapping, collecting and analysing the available information and evidence about costs and results of publicly financed measures and services which directly support career development of adult individuals.
- Assignment 2 – Expanding the evidence base on the outcomes and impacts of career development support: Developing a methodological proposal for standards for the monitoring and evaluation of career guidance and counselling services for adults, within a lifelong perspective.
The study is coordinated by ICF (BE) with 3s as consortium partner.
