Implementation of Vocational Qualifications Transfer System in Product Engineering and Automation Technology (VQTS Transfer)

As a Transfer of Innovation project, VQTS-Transfer – is based on the results of the project VQTS and seeks to apply the VQTS model to the field of product engineering.

One main goal was to strengthen the dialogue between companies, social partners and educational institutions in order to build integrated learning pathways. Another goal was to contribute to the implementation and transfer of the VQTS model in a specific professional area (mechanics and mechatronics) and to develop ways for recognising and validating individual competences acquired in different learning contexts – also comprising work-based learning. The main outcome expected was to develop and introduce practices and processes consolidated for the recognition and transfer of training credits for young students and workers in the field of mechanical production to foster national and transnational geographic mobility. The project was coordinated by RSO spa.
