Feasibility for the creation of an EU level network of national associations representing vocational education and training (VET) providers

This study concerned a feasibility assessment for the creation of a sustainable network of European associations representing VET providers.

27. October 2015

Information was collected on how VET providers are organised at national level and how they cooperate horizontally (with other VET providers’ associations) and vertically (with all VET providers they represent).
VET providers’ associations were consulted on:

– the added value of creating a European network of national VET providers’ associations,

– the potential activities, topics and outcomes of such a network,

– how cooperation between such a network and existing governance structures in EU-level VET policy could be organized, and

– any difficulties and opportunities this would create.
