“Developing ECVET” – from theory to practice! The two-year project was launched in October 2012 to explore several practical aspects of developing and implementing ECVET.
ECVET is the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training.
The project partners from Austria, Finland and the UK have been involved in a number of activities at national level preparing the ground for ECVET implementation. Combining and transferring the knowledge and expertise of each participating country enabled the project team to test several principles of ECVET including:
- Allocation of ECVET points
- Development and application of ECVET tools such as Memorandum of Understanding and Learning Agreement
- Development of a joint guide to the practical application of ECVET useful to broad range of VET systems
More information on the project is available on the project website or the Adam database.
The practical guide for ECVET implementation has been published and is available for download (see weblink below).
