Cedefop study – based on research conducted by a research consortium led by Panteia and 3s – represented by Simon Broek (Panteia) and Karin Luomi-Messerer (3s).

Additionally, the following national experts provided detailed country-specific information: Monika Auzinger (3s), Mike Coles, Mariya Dzhengozova (3s), M’Hamed Dif, Sonja Lengauer (3s), Gert-Jan Lindeboom, Sean o’Reilly, Vidmantas Tutlys and Lubomir Valenta (3s).

This study examines qualifications at level 5 of the European qualifications framework (EQF). It shows that EQF level 5 qualifications play an important role in providing access to employment and career advancement, as well as enabling further learning and progression to higher education. This double function makes them attractive to learners and employers.

The study was carried out by a consortium consisting of Panteia (NL) and 3s, with the participation of experts from various European countries.
