The toolkit, developed by Cedefop (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training) is based on successful VET practices in European countries, aiming for supporting young people to attain at least an upper secondary qualification.
The toolkit can be used by policy makers and practitioners, aiming for new strategies to help young people at risk of becoming early leavers to remain in education and training or to help early leavers to reintegrate in education, training or the labour market.
The toolkit includes best practices, outcomes from recent LLL (Lifelong Learning) and Erasmus+ projects, instruments for evaluation, as well as a self-evaluation tool for policy makers. The toolkit is using the outcomes of a study on early school leaving in European countries.
3s provided support to the study by conducting country research in Austria and Germany.
