On 27 June 2018, the final conference of the Erasmus+ project "HealthCareEurope" (HCEU) will take place in Dresden, Germany. The event will discuss "Cross-border mobility of nursing professionals", 3s is a consortium partner.
On 11-13 April 2018, 3s participated in the 2nd Mutual Learning Workshop ‘Implementing Upskilling Pathways‘ organised by the European Commission in cooperation with ICF.
On 26-27 April 2018, 3s hosted the 4th partner meeting within the Erasmus+ project: ‘ECVET-LAB Implementation and validation of Non-Formal Training on Sustainability for Environmental Testing Laboratories workers’.
On 24-25 April, 3s participated in the high-level Presidency conference ‘Vocational Education and Training – the coice of preference’ in Sofia as part of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Cedefop (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training) is currently working on a project on "Changing Nature and Role of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Europe". 3s is coordinator of the project consortium and was commissioned by Cedefop to implement this three-year framework contract.
The purpose of the contract is to facilitate the development of methodologies for comparison of national VET qualifications.
The systematic review and renewal of VET is crucial to ensuring its continued quality and labour-market relevance. A better understanding of the performance of VET graduates in the labour market is one of the key sources for assessing and improving the quality and labour market relevance of VET, alongside forecasts of skills supply and demand.
The visualisation, recognition and evaluation of learning processes and learning outcomes, in particular of non-formally and informally acquired competences and learning outcomes (validation), is the focus of the current issue of the magazine for adult education "Die Österreichische Volkshochschule" (ÖVH).
The aim of this project commissioned by DG EMPL is to update the European Inventory on validation of non-formal and informal learning for 32 countries (EU 28 plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) in order to support the monitoring of the implementation of the 2012 Council Recommendation on validation of non-formal and informal learning.
