The final conference of the Erasmus+ project ‘Sharing Good Practices for European Mobility Activities Development‘ (S.P.R.E.A.D) took place in September 2018 in Salerno, Italy.

This year’s Vocational Training Research Conference (BBFK) took place from 5 to 6 July 2018 in Steyr (Upper Austria).

The first publication (volume 1) in the course of the Cedefop project ‘Changing nature and role of VET in Europe‘  discusses how VET (Vocational Education and Training) is usually conceptualised and how this can be transferred into an analytical framework valuable for the whole project.

The’ecvetlab’ project intends to develop an online training course through an OER (Open Educational Resources) Learning Platform promoting the need for sustainable development of the sector of laboratories of environmental testing.

Demographic change is hitting Europe. Few young people, an ageing population and an increase in people from other countries will change Europe in the long term.

This year’s ECVET Forum took place in Sofia, Bulgaria (14-15 June 2018) and was dedicated to the topic of ‘Using ECVET for long-duration mobility’.

On 5-6 July 2018, 3s participated in the LLLP Annual Conference ‘Lifelong Learning Culture: A partnership for rethinking education‘.

On 26 June 2018, Cedefop (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training) together with the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU organised the 5th Cedefop Brussels-based seminar.

The policy learning forum (PLF) on learning outcomes in VET was organised in cooperation with UNESCO and took place in Thessaloniki on 21 and 22 June.

ECVET-Lab is an ERASMUS+ project funded by the European Commission and aims to provide free online training for laboratory technicians (especially environmental testing laboratories) on environmentally friendly working methods.
