This year’s Vocational Training Research Conference (BBFK) took place from 5 to 6 July 2018 in Steyr (Upper Austria).
The first publication (volume 1) in the course of the Cedefop project ‘Changing nature and role of VET in Europe‘ discusses how VET (Vocational Education and Training) is usually conceptualised and how this can be transferred into an analytical framework valuable for the whole project.
The’ecvetlab’ project intends to develop an online training course through an OER (Open Educational Resources) Learning Platform promoting the need for sustainable development of the sector of laboratories of environmental testing.

The policy learning forum (PLF) on learning outcomes in VET was organised in cooperation with UNESCO and took place in Thessaloniki on 21 and 22 June.
ECVET-Lab is an ERASMUS+ project funded by the European Commission and aims to provide free online training for laboratory technicians (especially environmental testing laboratories) on environmentally friendly working methods.
