The PLA has explored different options of how credit(s) and credit points can be used to facilitate the recognition of prior learning (formal, non-formal, informal) from different learning contexts.
The 3rd VPL Biennale (Validation of Prior Learning) aimed at strengthening the platform for policy makers, practitioners, users, researchers and other stakeholders that are involved in further developing & implementing Validation of Prior Learning.
The event “Circular Economy Competences Making the Case for Lifelong Learning” took place on 19 Febuary 2019 in the European Parliament in Brussels. It was organised by MEP Silvia Costa and ACR+ in the framework of the Erasmus+ project”CYCLE CC”.
„Circular Economy Competences Making the Case for Lifelong Learning” is the motto of an event which will take place with the participation of 3s and at the invitation of ACR+ (Association of Cities and Regions for sustainable Resource Management) on 19 February 2019 in the European Parliament in Brussels.

The Erasmus+ project ICT-INEX – (INclude the EXcluded, project duration: 2016-2018, participating EU countries: Poland, Finland and Austria) aims to improve labour market access and the effectiveness of education and training for professional drivers using ICT-based tools.
The first formal qualifications have already been assigned to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), others will follow soon. Structures were also created for classifying qualifications from the non-formal education sector.
VET qualifications and programmes offered at EQF levels 5 to 8 which do not fall within the overarching qualifications framework of the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA) were the main focus of the international conference on 22 November at the Albert Hall Conference Centre in Vienna.
