Erasmus+ Project “MOULD4PLAST” – 1. Newsletter published

The automotive industry is an important part of the European economy and urgently needs specialists with knowledge in the field of plastic mould making. The Erasmus+ project “MOULD4PLAST” is developing a “Professional Profile Map” and a further training course precisely for this purpose. Specialised toolmakers and specialists from the metal mould making sector are to be equipped with skills and competences in the field of plastic mould making.

New publication released: ‘The changing nature and role of vocational education and training in Europe” (Volume 7)

The aim of the paper “The changing nature and role of vocational education and training in Europe. Volume 7: VET from a lifelong learning perspective: continuing VET concepts, providers and participants in Europe 1995-2015” was to provide an overview of how CVET (continous vocational education and training) is conceptualised in various international level policy documents and how it is referred to across countries.

Annual ECVET Forum 2019 – presentations now available

The Annual ECVET Forum 2019 (European Credit System of Vocational Education and Training) discussed ‘Using the ECVET principles to connect learning and working in tomorrow’s labour market’ – European, national, local and sectoral policies and initiatives’. This year’s event was held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
