After three years of project work, testing, common reflections and joint discussions on methods and tools, the ECVET pilot projects funded through the centralised actions of the Lifelong Learning Programme are looking forward to sharing their findings.The final conference of the European pilot projects will take place in Brussels on February 22-23.

Cedefop organises this expert workshop to better understand how permeability functions and to support peer learning towards developing innovative models. It also aims at identifying research needs at European and national level.

The European Commission has declared „Vocational Qualification Transfer II – VQTS II“, a Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation project coordinated by 3s, as one of two Austrian projects, to belong to the best projects of 2007.

Sonja Lengauer contributed an article on the different organisational structures and roles of National Coordination Points for the NQF.

This note is the fourth in the European Qualifications Framework Series which is written for policy makers and experts who are involved at national and European level in the implementation of the EQF for lifelong learning.

On January 12th 2012, ARQA-VET will host the interim conference of the VET-CERT project – together with the VET-CERT project partners (including 3s), and in cooperation with the Hertha Firnberg schools. The conference will be held in Vienna (10:00 – 15:00).

The 3rd networking conference on quality in vocational education and training (VET) in Austria was held on November 21st, 2011. More information on the conference can be found here.

The BW-TWIN project aimed at testing a joint ECVET-ECTS implementation. The final conference of the project will take place on 9 December 2011.
