The 2nd issue of the newsletter presents the competence profiles developed for Quality Managers in Initial Vocational Education and Training (IVET) and in Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET) as well as the proposal for a Curricular Framework and informs about other project activities and planned events. 3s is a project partner in the ProfDRV-Project, which deals with qualification requirements and vocational training for professional drivers in Europe. Now the second edition of the newsletter has been published!

3s participated at the EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education) 22nd Annual Conference in Riga, Latvia, on „Responding to Challenges in European Higher Education: Lifelong Learning and the Welfare Society”. The event on 10 – 11 May 2012 was hosted by the Banku Augstskola (BSF) in partnership with the FLLLEX project consortium and the Danish Rector’s Conference – University Colleges Denmark (UC-DK).
The MOVET II project developed a new competence matrix for mechanics in industry.

3s has been engaged by the European Commission – besides the Danish Technological Institute, GHK International, and Technopolis Group -with the preparations for the first Business-VET Forum, a dialogue forum between European businesses and providers of vocational education and training. Gerhard Geiger (3s) will participate in this Forum, which will be held in June 2012.
