The GREENOVET project (European VET Excellence Platform for Green Innovation) has been selected as one of only five projects to receive funding from the European Commission to support the development of transnational cooperation platforms of Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs).

Update of the AMS Occupational Information System ‘BIS 2.0’

In June 2020 the AMS Occupational Information System (BIS) was fundamentally updated (by 3s and our technical partner FWD). Among other things, the system was adapted to the corporate design of the AMS (Public Employment Service Austria) and converted to a responsive layout to ensure accessibility and usability on smartphones (see picture).

‘European Skills Agenda’ and ‘Proposal for a Council Recommendation on Vocational Education and Training for sustainable competitiveness, social fairness and resilience’ published

On the 1st of July, the European Commission presented the European Skills Agenda for sustainable competitiveness, social fairness and resilience. It sets ambitious, quantitative objectives for upskilling (improving existing skills) and reskilling (training in new skills) to be achieved within the next five years through a set of 12 ‘actions’.

New Cedefop publication now online: ‘European qualifications framework – Initial vocational education and training: focus on qualifications at levels 3 and 4’

This study takes a closer look at initial VET qualifications assigned to EQF levels 3 and 4 via national classifications and explores what they have in common and in what way they differ. It looks at their purpose and value on the labour market or for further learning, and how they are assigned to the national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and EQF levels.
