On 22-23 February 2018, the European Commission funded Erasmus+ project ATWORK (ICT based evaluation methodology – to assess the social impact of work-linked training) held its first partners’ meeting in Madrid, Spain.
The workshop will build on the findings of the ongoing (2015-2018) Cedefop project on ‘The changing nature and role of vocational education and training in Europe’, coordinated by 3s.
Recently, the new Cedefop study ‘Validation of non-formal and informal learning and career guidance’ was launched (project period 2017-2019).
A new Cedefop publication gives an update on the national qualification frameworks around the world. Parts of the report are based on research carried out by 3s and Ockham IPS.
This report comparing the qualifications frameworks, levels, and quality assurance arrangements will help support more transparent and consistent recognition of qualifications between European Union Member States and New Zealand. 3s provided support to the EU team drafting the report.
As part of the 4th project meeting of the ERASMUS+ project ‘FutureDRV – Preparing professional drivers for their role in the 4th Industrial Revolution‘, an Experts Round Table took place on 30 January 2018 in Vienna (AT).
The ‘European Vocational Skills Week 2018’ will take place from 5 to 9 November 2018 in Vienna, Austria.
The strategy was adopted in November 2017 and is the result of an intensive discussion and development process involving all major stakeholders in the field of competence validation.
