The ECVET Magazine No. 25, which provides an update on current developments related to the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training, is now available for download on the ECVET Secretariat website.
This issue contains:
- An editorial by Detlef Eckert, Director of Skills, DG EMPL, on the ‘New Skills Agenda’
- An article on assessment and recognition of prior learning in Denmark
- Articles on ECVET-related reforms in Latvia, Finland and the Czech Republic
- An article on ‘Using the principles of ECVET and EQF for the labour market: the success story of the YEBISU e.e. partnership’
- An introduction of the proposal for a Council Recommendation on establishing a ‘Skills Guarantee’, with examples on how this can be used in practice
- An introduction of the new ECVET Secretariat
The website has received a complete make-over and has just been relaunched with a new look. The new ECVET Secretariat website (www.ecvet-secretariat.eu) replaces the previous ECVET–Team website.
The ECVET Secretariat is coordinated by ICF, Belgium, with 3s as project partner. The task of the ECVET Secretariat is to assist the European Commission in fulfilling its task of supporting national authorities and VET stakeholders in the development and implementation of ECVET.
