European Experts Round Table on ‘DRIVING SKILLS – More than just driving‘ on 30 January 2018 in Vienna
As part of the 4th project meeting of the ERASMUS+ project ‘FutureDRV – Preparing professional drivers for their role in the 4th Industrial Revolution‘, an Experts Round Table took place on 30 January 2018 in Vienna (AT).

As part of the 4th project meeting of the ERASMUS+ project ‘FutureDRV – Preparing professional drivers for their role in the 4th Industrial Revolution‘, an Experts Round Table took place on 30 January 2018 in Vienna (AT).
The event was attended by both European and Austrian stakeholders and experts from the professional driving and transport sector.
The FutureDRV project consortium examines the future of professional driving by analysing the activities and role of professional drivers and future qualification requirements up to and beyond 2030.
During two round table sessions, the experts discussed the following topics:
- Round table session 1:’ Innovations and the future work of professional drivers‘
- Round table session 2: ‘Preparing drivers for future skill requirements’
3s is the Austrian research partner in the FutureDRV project (duration: 2017-2019, coordinator: DEKRA Akademie Deutschland, further project partners come from Sweden, Hungary, UK and France).
