DISCO II final conference “Describing Learning Outcomes and Skills Profiles. European Terminologies of Skills and Competences” The aim of the event is to bring together experts working in the field of skills and competences, as well as learning outcome descriptions, for exchanging information.

About 60 representatives and stakeholders of the European Commission, Ministries, Public Employment Services, Education and Training Institutions as well as Research Centres will participate in the conference.

The results from the DISCO II project will be presented in the context of present developments of European terminologies for describing learning outcomes and skills profiles. Topics for further discussion will include the question how common European terminologies such as DISCO and ESCO (European taxonomy of Skills/Competences, qualifications and Occupations) can support the international comparability of competence descriptions in education and labour market and which application scenarios for these taxonomies exist.
