The ‘European Vocational Skills Week 2017’ took place on 20-24 November 2017 in Brussels and was Europe’s second annual celebration of vocational education and training.

The European Vocational Skills Conference on 22 November 2017 focussed on ‘Promoting the Vocational Skills Agenda – Together‘ and addressed among others the following aspects:

  • Learner and staff mobility for providing the skills for a competitive European labour market
  • Sectoral cooperation on skills: a ‘Blueprint‘ for competitiveness
  • Digitalisation – VET meeting the challenge
  • The vocational skills landscape towards 2020 and beyond

One of the six parallel sessions in the afternoon was dedicated to ‘VET Mobility‘ (including internationalisation strategy and ErasmusPRO). Monika Auzinger (3s) was appointed as rapporteur of this session and presented the outcomes of the discussions at the end of the workshop as well as in the plenary.
