On 22 January 2014, the national Erasmus+ kick-off event took place in the Vienna Hofburg. Eramus+ is the new EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport, which started on 1 January 2014 and will run until 2020.
3s was invited to present the VQTS II, project with a stand at the event. VQTS was supported by the European Commission under the preceding Lifelong Learning Programme. The event provided the opportunity for Monika Auzinger and Karin Luomi-Messerer to discuss the VQTS model with Federal Minister Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek. Furthermore, Karin Luomi-Messerer held a presentation within Forum 5 on "Leonardo da Vinci – Innovation for Europe", where participants discussed possible topics for Erasmus+ projects in the field of European transparency instruments and recognition.
