This year’s ECVET Forum took place in St. Paul’s Bay, Malta (19-20 October 2017), and explored the role of ECVET in making vocational pathways more flexible.

This year’s Annual ECVET Forum brought together 150 policy makers, national coordinators, national ECVET experts and labour market stakeholders to discuss the role that ECVET (the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training) can play in inspiring national reforms or other action towards providing more flexible vocational pathways. 22 presentations from 18 different countries provided a kaleidoscope of national activities that were carried out in the last years across Europe to pave the way for the future of vocational education and training.

The two-day event was organised by the ECVET Secretariat, which is coordinated by ICF (Belgium) in cooperation with 3s. 3s had an expert team on-site, which consisted of Karin Luomi-Messerer, Mariya Dzhengozova and Monika Auzinger, to provide their expertise, and to support and facilitate the event.
