The overall objective of the `VALBUK´ project was to implement and use ECVET principles in order to facilitate access to lifelong learning and qualifications in the area of cleaning services. Specific aims included:
- to facilitate the understanding and application of ECVET by VET stakeholders in partner countries;
- to identify, test and transfer practical solutions intended to facilitate the development of innovative practices in VET, using ECVET, validation of non-formal and informal learning, etc.
Project outcomes:
- Elaboration of a competence matrix for the area of cleaning services based on the VQTS Matrix (developed by 3s)
- Definition of guidelines and related procedures, for the completion of a flexible and modular qualification pathway including criteria and standards for the assessment, transfer, validation and accumulation of learning outcomes achieved in formal, informal and non-formal contexts
- Development of operational partnerships involving stakeholders and key actors of the sector, in order to test and consolidate learning units and guidelines in the framework of adults qualification pathways
The target groups include final beneficiaries (low qualified and particularly migrant workers active in the cleaning sector, not having a recognized qualification) as well as direct beneficiaries (institutions and stakeholders active in I-VET and C-VET). The project is coordinated by ECAP Foundation (CH).
