In 2011, 3s – in co-operation with ibw – carried out a series of preparatory activities for the implementation of ECVET (i.e. the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training) in Austria.
This included, amongst others, the release of the ECVET guide as well as the launch of an ECVET website, which delivered support and assistance for the implementation of ECVET to those who take part in mobility programmes. Furthermore, an ECVET conference was organised in fall 2011, an event which helped to promote this transparency tool and the ECVET guide.
