Regional economic effects of “Fachhochschul-Studiengänge” (polytechnics) in Austria
Using selected Fachhochschule degree programmes (Hagenberg, Kapfenberg and Dornbirn) as case studies research was carried out into what factors influenced their establishement and what economic, social and cultural effects these degree programmes have in their region.
