The workshop was built around two Cedefop projects: “Changing nature and role of VET in Europe” (2015-18) and “Future of VET in Europe” (2019-22), both led by 3s. The ongoing project on the Future of VET in particular seeks to explore the way in which the content and profile of vocational education and training is changing across EU countries.
The event gathered researchers, policy makers and VET stakeholders from 36 different countries to discuss the overall direction that European VET is taking.
3s’ Karin Luomi-Messerer, Claudia Plaimauer and Jörg Markowitsch each actively contributed to the event by presenting outcomes of their recent research.
