European Observatory of validation of non-formal & informal learning – OBSERVAL
3s is a partner in the OBSERVAL network coordinated by EUCEN, the European University Continuing Education Network. This project’s main objective was to create a database on validation of non-formal and informal learning in European countries, which are regularly updated and accessible via Internet.

This project’s main objective was to create a database on validation of non-formal and informal learning in European countries, which are regularly updated and accessible via Internet.
Four categories of data are available in the Observatory: 1) information on official documents and reports, 2) an annual update on current implementation of validation of non-formal and informal learning in the country, 3) case studies presenting interesting or innovating initiatives and experiments, 4) an annotated bibliographical review of reports, books, articles, surveys, etc.
