The 7EU-VET project was designed as a research study in vocational education and training which built upon common European strategies, frameworks and tools that had been developed and supported them with the research action among seven European countries.

In this context, the project addressed the following scientific and research objectives: What are the perceptions of young people about VET systems and how do they see their future possibilities for employment, career building and mobility? How is the ICT implemented in vocational education programmes? Which ICT tools can be used in these programmes to make study more attractive, to better prepare students for the working life and to increase information flows across countries? How efficient and successful are the systems of advising and informing? Can we set up a successful model, which could be implemented across European countries? Are VET systems across countries comparable and flexible enough to correspondingly respond to the changing needs? The study was coordinated by the University of Ljubljana (SI).
