3s at the DGVET Conference: ‘Apprenticeship: Better training – Higher skills – Great opportunities’

A peer review on national reforms and policies in the area of apprenticeships was organised as a part of the Meeting of the Directors General for Vocational Education and Training (DGVET).

The meeting took place in Bratislava on 19 and 20 October 2016, SK.
The peer review was organized in four parallel workshops focusing on the following topics:
 

1. Better training – clear regulatory framework for apprenticeships
2. Getting employers on board
3. Expanding apprenticeships to adults
4. Apprenticeships in higher VET

Karin Luomi-Messerer (3s) wasinvited by the European Commission to contribute to the discussions in workshop 4 (based on the ‘Study on higher Vocational Education and Training in the EU’.
