The EQUAL-CLASS project ("Engineers qualified in higher non-university VET insitutions – providing arguments and evidence for NQF/EQF classification") has recently been finalised and the project results have been published.
Throughout the EQUAL-CLASS initiative, the project team used and tested several different approaches to the comparison of qualifications in order to develop transparency and a better understanding of engineering qualifications in the field of mechatronics and electrical engineering/electronics, with particular focus on their classifi cation within National Qualifications Frameworks and their link to the European Qualifications Framework.
The central project activities and results have been summarised in a final project publication which has recently been published (see below link). For single work packages – such as the EQUAL-CLASS alumni survey and the "Remote Laboratories" experiment – full reports and short summary reports have additionally been made available. These and further documents are available at: www.equal-class-eqf.eu/results.
