On basis of national and international examples of initiatives that aimed at increasing their student numbers compared to less demand study fields (in Austria this is especially the case for Science and Technology) success factors could be identified. Built on this, perspectives to advance the attractiveness of higher educational studies related to Science and Technology in Austria were developed.
