3s provides expertise to the ‘EU Skills Panorama’
As part of the Europe 2020 flagship ‘An Agenda for New Skills and Jobs’, the EU in partnership with Member States, social partners, the labour market, education and training institutions, is currently working on the so-called ‘EU Skills Panorama’ – with 3s providing expertise!
As part of the Europe 2020 flagship ‘An Agenda for New Skills and Jobs’, the EU in partnership with Member States, social partners, the labour market, education and training institutions, is currently working on the so-called ‘EU Skills Panorama’ – with 3s providing expertise!
This new service will gather, develop and disseminate factual information on current and future skills needs, skills supply and mismatches, as well as on jobs and occupations trends. Together with GHK and Technopolis, 3s will develop this instrument on behalf of the European Commission. In addition, a network of observatories on skills needs and skills mismatches has been set up which meets several times a year. Lorenz Lassnigg (IHS) and Jörg Markowitsch (3s) were nominated as Austrian experts for this network. 3s provides a comparable instrument on national level: the Austrian Skills Barometer.
