Evaluation of the Vienna University of Applied Sciences funding programme of 2010 and 2013
On the basis of a specifically developed scheme of assessment parameters, the City of Vienna (Department 23) commissioned 3s to evaluate the funding directive 2010 and 2013 for Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) by conducting online-surveys and expert interviews among the UAS-carriers, project-leaders and representatives of the local innovation system.

One focus of the evaluation was the analysis of effects on the number of STEM graduates in Austria. International good practice examples for funding systems were explored as well. The overall objective of the evaluation was to develop recommendations for the design of the coming funding directive which was implemented in 2015.
