National team of ECVET experts – 2015
In January 2012, the Austrian National Agency for Lifelong Learning set up an ECVET contact point. At the same time, a team of seven national ECVET experts has been appointed for two years and the initiative continues in 2015. Karin Luomi-Messerer is part of this team.
In January 2012, the Austrian National Agency for Lifelong Learning set up an ECVET contact point. At the same time, a team of seven national ECVET experts has been appointed for two years and the initiative continues in 2015. Karin Luomi-Messerer is part of this team.
The ECVET experts provide advice and training for individuals engaged in the field of vocational education and training in Austria who are directly involved in the development of curricula, as well as institutions and businesses engaged in learners’ mobility. The initiative particularly addresses those areas of formal education that are open to mobility, and which have a basic knowledge of ECVET or have already gained initial experience with ECVET. The ECVET contact point serves as a central contact point for information on ECVET, the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training, and will also coordinate the activities of the ECVET experts.
